Meet our School Based Youth Health Nurse
Greetings Craigslea State High School community!
I
am delighted to introduce myself as the new School Based Youth Health
Nurse at Craigslea SHS. My name is Emma, and I am here to promote the
health and wellbeing of our students. Supported by the Queensland
Children’s Hospital, my role encompasses a range of activities to ensure
our students have access to the support they need.
How to Reach Me
If you have any health-related concerns or questions, don't hesitate to contact me at nurse.craigslea@health.qld.gov.au
or visit my office in H block. My working days are Mondays, Tuesdays,
and every second Wednesday. Alternatively, students can make an
appointment to see me at the student counter.
While
I am here to promote health and wellbeing, it's essential to remember
that my role does not involve medical treatments, first aid,
medications, physical examinations, or ongoing counselling.
I
am incredibly excited to be a part of the Craigslea SHS community and
to meet and support all of you. Together, we can create a nurturing
environment where students thrive physically, emotionally and socially.
