At Craigslea SHS, we offer three Programs of Excellence in Volleyball, Science and Music that aim to create unique learning and growth opportunities for capable students seeking to challenge themselves. We believe that every student has the
potential to achieve and excel. Whether you dream of pursuing a career
in STEM, The Arts, or beyond, our Programs of Excellence will
empower you to discover your passions and plan your path to success.
How to Apply for Programs of Excellence
The
school’s Programs of Excellence are supported through the allocation of
a defined number of places. Places in the Programs of Excellence are
available to Out of Catchment enrolments once the demand for In
Catchment enrolments has been met.
Applications for our 2027 Programs of Excellence are now open (see below). Application should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please ensure you have all required information and documents prepared before starting your online application, as you will not be able to save and return later.

Application for enrolment into these programs must be made prior to the cut off dates provided on the Programs of Excellence Flow Chart.
If you reside outside of our catchment area and are applying for one of Craigslea State High School's Programs of Excellence, kindly ensure that you complete an Out of Catchment Expression of Interest Form in addition to the online Programs of Excellence Application corresponding to your child's area of interest (Please refer to the Enrolling at our School page of our school website). *Please note, to apply for the Signature Music Program you must also be enrolled in the Instrumental Music Program and/or Vocal Lessons.
