Active engagement in physical activity and sport makes a significant contribution to the health of young people and sport is an important part of our culture and tradition. Playing sport, however, isn’t just about being active and getting fit. Playing sport at a young age promotes multiple benefits such as developing leadership skills, better physical development, increasing fitness and a wider range of social skills. These beliefs are fundamental to the sports program at Craigslea SHS.

Sport is offered two afternoons a week:-

  • Tuesday for Years 7, 8 and 9 – both Interschool and Recreational
  • Wednesday for Year 10 – both Interschool and Recreational and 11/12 students involved in Interschool Sport

Sports Coordinators

Mr Hayden Brake                   Ms Michaela Campbell

  • Interschool Sport
  • Recreational Sport
  • School Carnivals (Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics)

  • Regional Sport
