Enrolling at Craigslea State High School
Enrolling your child at Craigslea State High School is an important and exciting decision. We look forward to working in partnership with you as your child grows socially and emotionally, and experiences academic success.
Due to our high enrolment demand, Craigslea State High School operates under an Enrolment Management Plan (EMP). Before enrolling, confirm that you reside within our catchment using the Education Queensland Catchment Map.
Enrolment applications at Craigslea State High School fall into three categories:
- In Catchment Enrolment

- Programs of Excellence (Selective Entry): Volleyball, Music and Science
For detailed information on each category, refer to our 'How do I Enrol?' flowchart. If you have any questions regarding enrolments, contact our Enrolments Officer during school administration hours.

Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
Out-of-Catchment Expressions of Interest have closed for 2026.
2027 Out-of-Catchment Expression of Interest Forms are now avilable.
Once your Expression of Interest Form has been submitted, your child will be placed on a waitlist. A position on the waitlist does not guarantee enrolment at Craigslea State High School. Enrolment places will be offered to families in Semester 2 of the preceding school year and families are not required to complete an enrolment pack until a place has been offered.
Please note, siblings of current students living outside the catchment may be eligible to enrol at the school. However, acceptance into a Program of Excellence or placement due to exclusion from another school does not guarantee automatic enrolment for their sibling.
Programs of Excellence (Selective Entry): Volleyball, Music and Science
Craigslea State High School offers three Programs of Excellence:
The school's Program's of Excellence are supported through the allocation of a defined number of places. Places are available to Out-of-Catchment enrolments once the demand for In-Catchment enrolments has been met.
2026 applications for the Programs of Excellence have closed.
Applications for our 2027 Programs of Excellence open at 9.00am on Monday 20 April 2026. To prepare, please refer to the 'What to Prepare Before you Apply' infographic.
