Open Mornings

Open Mornings occur on the first and third Friday of each month, from 9:00am - 10:00am and provide an opportunity to meet students and staff, see classes in action and tour the school.

Enrolment packs for 2021 are available from our school's Administration Office on (07) 3326 5222 for any enrolment enquiries.

Enrolment Procedure

Enrolment at Craigslea State High School is governed by an Enrolment Management Plan which sets conditions of enrolment and the boundaries that determine the catchment area for the school.

Open Mornings on the first and third Friday of each month are available to see classes in action, meet students and staff and tour the school.

Full details about this and other matters pertaining to enrolment can be made by contacting the Enrolment officer at the school during office hours.

Students enrolling from overseas should read the section for International Students.

Process for Enrolment – In Catchment Area

  • Establish if you reside within catchment – a catchment map can be found on the Enrolment Management Plan or alternatively email the Enrolment Officer
  • Contact the Enrolment officer to make arrangements to collect an enrolment pack and make an appointment for an enrolment interview. Enrolling students must accompany parents/caregivers to the enrolment interview.

Process for Enrolment – Out of Catchment Area

  • Download and complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) Form or obtain a copy from the school office. The form outlines all the necessary supporting documentation that needs to accompany the EOI. The EOI with documentation is to be submitted directly to the office.
  • The school’s Programs of Excellence are supported through the allocation of a defined number of places. Places in the Program of Excellence are available to out-of-catchment enrolments once the demand for in-catchment enrolment has been met. Please indicate on the enrolment application if you wish to apply for one of the following Programs of Excellence:
  • The EOI is processed and a letter advising whether or not the application has been successful will be issued.
  • Successful applicants will then be required to attend an enrolment interview (parent/carer and student). A suitable time is organised with the Enrolment Officer. An enrolment pack is issued at this stage of the enrolment process and all documentation must be completed before the interview.
