About Harmony Day

Harmony Day at Craigslea SHS is a wonderful day celebrating the importance of multi-culturalism in our school community. Harmony Day and every day is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone; a day to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common.

The day showcases a variety of musical and dance performances, singing and poetry. Food stalls from many nationalities form a delicious part of the day, and raise funds for a variety of charities close to the students’ hearts.

The annual celebration is organised by our Global Citizenship Coordinator, Ms Amanda Handy.

How to get Involved

Harmony Day takes place annually in March 2021, Term 1 (Week 8). Ms Handy organises assembly items and food stall holders.

All students are encouraged to take part and help make the day a success. We hope to see many cultures represented from our global Craigslea SHS community.

For students who are seeking more information or would like to express their interest, please see Ms Amanda Handy at the D block staffroom to collect a participation form.
