About Harmony Day
Harmony Day at Craigslea SHS is a wonderful day celebrating the
importance of multi-culturalism in our school community. Harmony Day occurs annually on March 21 and this day and every day is
about inclusiveness, respect
and a sense of belonging for
everyone; a day to embrace
cultural diversity and to share
what we have in common.
The day showcases a variety of musical and dance performances, singing and poetry. Food stalls from many nationalities form a delicious part of the day, and raise funds
for a variety of charities close to the students’ hearts.
The annual celebration is organised by our Global Citizenship Coordinator, Ms Amanda Handy.
How to get Involved
All students are encouraged to take part and help make the day a success. A variety of assembly items and food stall holders are welcome and encouraged yearly. We hope to see many cultures represented that make up our global Craigslea SHS community.
For students who are seeking more information or would like to express their interest, please see Ms Amanda Handy in the D block staffroom to collect a participation form.
