  • Support the CVA Program Manager, CVA coaches, CVA support staff and players.
  • Assist with the positive promotion of the CVA Program, through marketing on the School Assembly, writing newsletter items, and researching information about our students in sport.
  • Assist with coaching and general management of the CVA Program.
  • Assist with the running, organisation, student involvement and encouragement of competitions.
  • Assisting in the organisation of the Sports Awards Dinner.
  • Undertake public speaking duties for the CVA Program as required.
  • Providing a positive, safe and welcoming atmosphere for all involved in the CVA Program.
  • Always wear the correct school uniform, as outlined in the School Dress Code.

Leadership Expectations and Accountability

The CVA Captains are expected to actively fulfil all responsibilities associated with the role. Failure to meet the expectations of the position or demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the role may result in a review of the student's appointment and could lead to the loss of their position.

Any instance of academic misconduct, a major breach of the Student Code of Conduct, or failure to uphold the school's values and expectations will result in the student being stood down from their leadership position and required to hand over their badge and leadership responsibilities.
