About Lady Elliot Island Tours

An exciting opportunity is offered to students to visit Lady Elliot Island to engage in a range of Citizen Science activities. These activities can include, but are not limited to, snorkelling, Scuba diving, collecting data for Citizen Science projects such as UQ Coral Watch, Reef Watch and Reef Check, assessing sustainability and a variety of other STEM related activities. Not only will students engage in monitoring and understanding the diversity of the reef, they will gain an appreciation of the importance of preserving such an important ecosystem.​​


Upcoming Tours

The next Lady Elliot Island tour will be in Week 10 of Term 4, 2023. This tour is offered to students with a current scuba licence and will involve a range of snorkelling and scuba activities.
