The school maintains regular contact with parents and caregivers with regard to students’ progress via student term and semester reports and Parent-Teacher Meetings. Short Message Service (SMS) messaging is utilised in the case of unexplained student absences.
Information is also sent out via our newsletter, school website, invitations to parent information sessions on school processes, activities and topics of general interest.
We are using email more and more as an effective means of communication, so it is imperative that parents/caregivers contact us with any change of email address.
Parent-Teacher Meetings
The most proven and dependable way of assisting students to apply themselves consistently and to reach their potential, is for the school and home to have open and transparent communication lines. This fosters a learning partnership, striving for one purpose.
To this end, we encourage all parents and caregivers to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings. Parents, caregivers and students are welcome to take this opportunity to meet with classroom teachers and discuss students’ progress. Please refer to the information given at the time which will provide details for booking these meetings. We encourage you to confirm these meetings to avoid disappointment as a number of staff are booked solidly on this occasion.
